TERMS OF DESIGN:
PAYMENT
Please be aware that once you have submitted your initial payment you are agreeing to uphold the design terms below in their entirety.
The method of payment accepted by EightCrazy Design is Paypal.
COPYRIGHT
The intellectual property and copyrights of your blog design are retained by EightCrazy Design, and all pieces of the blog's design must remain intact. At anytime if you choose to replace elements of the design please be aware that these terms require that you completely remove the ECD template and choose a brand new template.
Your blog design is published as the creative work of EightCrazy Designs. It is a reflection of my design style and abilities. If the design is altered in anyway, it is no longer an accurate representation of my work. A redesign or update is always a possibility. Please email me to discuss the options.
The graphics and all content of EightCrazy Design is protected by Copyright. No template, header, background, design, or graphic is to be altered, changed or resold for any purpose. When you purchase a Couture or Pre-Designed blog design it entitles you to use that design on ONE specified URL. You MAY NOT add the design code or graphics to any additional blog URLs, or copy, slice or cut the design graphics for use on another website, blog, or graphic for any reason without permission from ECD. If you would like to do so, please contact me as there is a fee when doing so. To apply the design to an additional blogger blog the fee is $28. To use the graphics for any other platform the fee is $58.
Hiring another designer to create a "coordinating" graphic for a blog design or graphic from eightcrazydesign.com. is in violation of my terms. ALL RIGHTS to the designs produced here are my intellectual property and are not to be copied, altered or used in any way other than specified before installation or delivery of the item purchased.
COMMUNICATION
When your start date comes and communication begins please check your email often during the duration of the design process. This process often requires many quick back and forth emails and the quicker we can communicate the quicker we can get your new design finished and installed. It is also a courtesy to me as a designer as I carefully plan my schedule to meet the needs of current and future clients.
PHOTOGRAPHY & OUTSIDE GRAPHICS
Obtaining copyrights and permission for any photos or design elements provided by the client are the responsibility of the client. EightCrazy Design is in no way liable or responsible for those graphics or photos. Please do not provide items to ECD to use that you have not obtained proper permission to use.
COMPATABILITY
There are many different browsers out there and each has several versions as well. ECD suggests that you update your browser to the most current version offered. ECD designs to meet the standards that comply with the latest browser versions and is not responsible for inconsistencies that may appear when older browser versions are used.
DESIGN CREDITS
Upon installation an ECD button will be placed in one of your sidebars. These terms require that you may place it where ever you would like within the sidebars, but you may not remove or alter it. There will also be a statement at the bottom of the page.
ADDITIONAL INFO
ECD reserves the right not to participate in the designing of a blog that is deemed to be vulgar, profane or offensive.
Excessive revisions are subject to an additional fee of $38 per hour. ECD will notify you if you have reached the exessive point. Once you have approved the design and the design in installed it is considered to be COMPLETE. Any graphic revisions after install will be subject to my hourly rate.
Please be advised that installing items like music players, slideshows, mr linky, and any widgets other than blogger gadgets and wordpress widgets is NOT within the design scope that you are hiring ECD for (unless otherwise indicated in the design package). ECD is not responsible for the installation of these items.
CANCELLATION
Please be aware that upon purchasing this package you are agreeing to the Terms of Design as stated on this website.
Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the posted “start by” date will be charged a fee of 50% of the deposit. Cancellations made within 14 days or less of the posted “start by” date will lose their deposit in full. If you cancel after your start by date you will lose your entire deposit.
